Creating QR Codes – 8 Tools compared:
Have you ever noticed the number of QR Codes you see in a day? It’s impressive. From product packaging, TV commercials, print advertising, business cards, inserts in the delivered boxes we receive, and more. QR codes are everywhere.
Why is that? Because they work. Quick Response Codes (QR Codes) are an effective tool for driving consumers to a website or a landing page, delivering important information, presenting a menu, and more. Anyone with a smartphone can access your content in seconds. That quick access presents a world of opportunity for marketers.
I’ve been using QR Codes for quite some time in print ads. They drive people to the signup page for my email newsletter – and work very well for this purpose. So effective, in fact – that I’ve been doing a bit of research on ways to make them a little more visually customized (like adding my logo). I’m also considering more ways to use QR Codes in my marketing and customer service.
QR Code generators are generally easy to use and can create a customized QR Code in seconds. I’ve been using a free QR Code generator I found online a couple of years ago. Now that I’ve been using them for a while, I’m finding that I want a few more features – like tracking and additional customization features.
