Is Your Head in the Cloud?
With all the talk online this week about Google Drive being released and Dropbox upping their free storage to 5GB, I’m knee-deep in cloud computing arguments, explanations and propaganda.
But what is cloud computing? Even if you aren’t quite sure, you’re probably already using it. GoogleDocs, iCloud, and Flickr all use “the cloud” to store your documents, files, photos and music. Here’s a great little video explanation to fill you in while I shuffle through these notes to give you the full scoop soon. -
New Look for Google+
Google+ rolled out a new look with new features. The most significant change is to navigation. With the new design, you’ll move around over on the left instead of up top. This is where you change between Pages, as well as when you click on your name in the upper right corner. Some of the buttons in the navigation will show options when you hover over them and each can be dragged to re-order them.

How To: Use Two Gmail Accounts Simultaneously
When Google re-vamped their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service in March, it changed the way we log into Google services, including YouTube, Blogger, and Gmail. You could log in once and be signed in to all the services, rather than logging in individually to each that you wanted to use.
This certainly can make using various services at the same time easier, it caused a hiccup for those of us that use more than one Gmail address. If you were signed into Gmail in one account, then needed to add a YouTube video or a blog post with your other Gmail account, it would require logging out of one and into the other. Bothersome.
Luckily, Google recently changed this and you can now be logged into multiple Google accounts at the same time. 1. At the top right corner of your screen, click on your name and a dialog box similar to the one to the right will show up.
2. Click on “Add Account” and a new tab will open in your browser with a new log-in page for Gmail.
3. Go ahead and sign in, you’ll have access to both emails and any Google services’ accounts that are tied to either email. -

As is tradition in many countries, for International Women’s Day, Google is sharing flowers. Ah, thanks.
“Women are leaders everywhere you look — from the CEO who runs a Fortune 500 company to the housewife who raises her children and heads her household. Our country was built by strong women and we will continue to break down walls and defy stereotypes.” -Nancy Pelosi
